Recognizing the work and achievements of alumnae groups made up of alums from a variety of the NPC member organizations, the National Panhellenic Conference gives out Citation of Merit and Programming Excellence awards on an annual basis for accomplishments, maintenance of positive community relationships, and efforts to promote the sorority experience.

The Programming Excellence award is given to those Alumnae Panhellenics who have enhanced their programming experiences through non-meeting events and speaker, activity, and/or philanthropy events for their members.
